Scope of the role

Alfasigma is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Talent Development & Learning to lead the evolution of our global talent, leadership, and culture agenda. 

This is a pivotal role for a leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will help shape the capabilities, culture, and leadership excellence required to support Alfasigma's growth ambitions, while ensuring that learning becomes an integral part of how work gets done across the organization. 

Working closely with the CHRO, executive leadership team, and business leaders globally, you will drive enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen leadership pipelines, accelerate organizational effectiveness, foster employee engagement, and build a culture of continuous learning and development. 

We are looking for a leader who can influence at the highest levels of the organization while remaining deeply connected to execution and impact delivery. 

 

What You'll Lead 

Leadership Development & Talent Strategy 

You will define and drive a future-focused leadership and talent agenda that equips leaders at all levels to navigate growth, transformation, and increasing organizational complexity. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Designing and implementing a global leadership development strategy aligned with business priorities and future capability needs 

  • Building scalable leadership programs for emerging leaders, people managers, senior leaders, and executives 

  • Embedding leadership frameworks into talent, performance, succession, and development processes 

  • Partnering with senior executives to strengthen succession pipelines and leadership bench strength 

  • Leading the development of Talent & Learning strategies, governance, and standards across the organization 

  • Supporting executive talent discussions, leadership team effectiveness, and talent reviews with the CHRO and senior leadership 

  • Driving assessment and development initiatives for Global Leadership Team members and critical business roles 

Learning & Capability Building 

You will shape a modern, high-impact learning ecosystem that supports continuous growth and organizational performance. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Defining and evolving the global learning strategy in line with organizational transformation priorities 

  • Creating innovative learning experiences through blended, digital, experiential, social, and peer-to-peer approaches 

  • Embedding a lean learning mindset focused on agility, continuous improvement, and business relevance 

  • Ensuring learning solutions are scalable, measurable, and linked to tangible business outcomes 

  • Chairing the Learning Council and establishing enterprise-wide learning governance 

Culture, Engagement & Employee Value Proposition 

You will play a central role in strengthening Alfasigma's culture and employee experience. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Leading culture transformation initiatives and embedding our organizational beliefs and values 

  • Driving employee listening strategies and translating insights into meaningful action 

  • Partnering with HR and business leaders to elevate employee engagement and experience 

  • Contributing to the development and activation of a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) 

  • Converting cultural aspirations into visible leadership behaviors, rituals, and organizational practices 

Organizational Effectiveness & Change 

As a trusted advisor to leaders across the business, you will help shape a more agile, effective, and future-ready organization. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Supporting enterprise-level organizational design initiatives 

  • Building change management and organizational development capabilities across the business 

  • Influencing and collaborating effectively within a complex global matrix environment 

  • Balancing global consistency with local flexibility across talent, learning, and culture programs 

Driving Execution & Measurable Impact 

Success in this role requires a hands-on leader who transforms ideas into action. 

You will: 

  • Personally lead flagship talent development and learning initiatives from concept through implementation 

  • Establish clear governance, metrics, and feedback mechanisms to measure effectiveness and ROI 

  • Continuously refine programs based on business outcomes, employee feedback, and data insights 

  • Champion a results-oriented, "make it happen" mindset across the organization 

 

Who are you? What you bring

  • Significant leadership experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or related disciplines 

  • Proven success designing and scaling leadership development initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations 

  • Deep expertise in leadership capability building, learning strategy, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and culture transformation 

  • Experience integrating engagement, EVP, and culture initiatives into broader people strategies 

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders 

  • A combination of strategic thinking and operational excellence 

  • International experience, ideally with global or multi-country responsibilities 

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making

Salary Range: €95000-€120000

The compensation range indicated in this job posting represents an estimated average range for the position. The final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements
