Over three years ago, we embarked on a transformative journey to become a truly global innovative healthcare company with a leading focus in Gastrointestinal (GI) health. We have experienced remarkable growth, nearly doubling our revenues, expanding geographically, and integrating several key acquisitions. We have also evolved our portfolio, expanded into rare and specialty segments, and strengthened our pipeline and people capabilities.

But our journey is far from complete! In fact, this is just the beginning of a bold new chapter in Alfasigma's history. We are committed to advancing innovation and leveraging our deep expertise to provide better health and a better quality of life for patients and consumers worldwide, and expand our reach across diverse markets.

As part of the GMAP leadership team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Global Market Access to shape and execute global market access and pricing strategies. This includes designing and implementing evidence-based value demonstration plans, leveraging clinical trial data and complementary real-world evidence to ensure alignment with payer and HTA expectations worldwide.

Your work will focus on developing a value proposition that is:

  • Compelling to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies, payers, and payer stakeholders
  • Tailored to well-defined patient subpopulations

Global Access Tools Development

  • Design and deploy global access and pricing tools (e.g., Global Value Dossiers, Payer Decks, Objection Handlers)
  • Enable local adaptation and implementation across markets
  • Support evidence generation for HTA submissions, including literature reviews and indirect treatment comparisons (NMA, MAIC, synthetic arms)
  • Coordinate health economic and budget impact models
  • Train affiliates to ensure global alignment and launch readiness

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor across internal functions (Global Strategic Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, HEOR, etc.)
  • Provide thought leadership in pricing, reimbursement, and access strategy
  • Integrate payer and HTA perspectives into cross-functional decision-making

Who are you ?

You are a strategic and analytical market access leader with deep experience navigating the global payer landscape. You combine scientific and economic expertise with strategic agility and a passion for improving patient access to innovative therapies.

Your background includes:

  • Advanced degree in a scientific field; MBA and/or advanced degree in Public Policy or Health Economics preferred
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in global market access and pricing across key markets
  • Strong understanding of US market access and HTA-driven systems (EU, UK, Canada, Japan, etc.)
  • Proven expertise in economic modeling, outcomes research, HTA submissions, and payer negotiations
