To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Senior Director, Consumer Insights Lead CHC

 

Purpose of the Job

This role is responsible for shaping and driving a holistic, insight-led understanding of consumer needs, motivations and behaviors across the CHC category and portfolio. This role transforms data, signals, and research into actionable insights that fuel innovation, sharpen brand strategy, and elevate consumer experiences in our markets globally. The position plays a critical role in building a culture of consumer obsession through modernizing research capabilities to be more useful and agile, and embedding insights into all major strategic and operational decisions across the business.

 

Principal Accountabilities

Insight Leadership & Strategy

 

•    Develop and execute the global Consumer Insights strategy aligned with CHC growth ambitions.

•    Champion a consumer-obsessed culture across global, regional, and local teams.

•    Translate consumer, market, and cultural trends into clear strategic opportunities for brands, franchises, and innovation teams.

 

Consumer Research & Analytics Excellence

 

•    Lead the design, commissioning, and execution of qualitative and quantitative research programs, leveraging traditional and novel techniques with trusted high-performing partners.

•    Drive the evolution of advanced insights capabilities (e.g., digital ethnography, social listening, predictive analytics, shopper science, appropriate AI-enhanced insights).

•    Ensure consistent global standards for methodology, insight generation, data quality for decision making and measurable outputs.

 

Portfolio, Brand & Innovation Impact

 

•    Partner with Marketing, Innovation/Ideation, R&D, and Commercial teams to shape consumer-led propositions, claims, and experiences.

•    Provide insights to validate early-stage concepts, strengthen brand positioning, and guide investment decisions.

•    Build and maintain consumer journey maps and frameworks to support end-to-end brand experience development.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

 

•    Serve as the key insights voice in portfolio strategy, category strategy, and business planning.

•    Influence senior stakeholders with synthesized insights, strategic narratives, and actionable recommendations.

•    Build strong partnerships with agencies, research partners, and global/local cross-functional teams.

Qualifications 

 

Work Experience

 

•    Minimum of 10 years in Consumer Insights or Brand Strategy within Consumer Health, FMCG, or wellness categories.

•    Proven application of advanced research techniques and insight activation.

•    Experience influencing senior stakeholders and building insight-driven cultures.

 

Education 

 

•    Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Behavioral Science, Psychology, Consumer Sciences or related fields.

•    Additional certifications in Data Analytics, Behavioral Science, Design Thinking, or Innovation preferred.

•    Ability to simplify complex data into actionable direction

•    Curiosity-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills

•    Experience working in global matrices and cross-functional environments

•    Efficient communication and good presentation skills

•    Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus

•    Smart approach and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and key tools (such as SAP, Veeva etc).
