Role Summary
The Senior Legal Manager – Supply Chain is responsible for providing strategic and operational legal support across all Alfasigma Global supply chain activities, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and third-party partnerships.
The role ensures that supply chain operations are legally compliant, contractually robust, and aligned with the Group’s risk management framework, while enabling efficient and business-oriented execution.
Reporting to the Corporate General Counsel, the position is part of the Legal Leadership Team and plays a key role in shaping legal strategy in close alignment with global operations and corporate priorities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contracting & Commercial Support

Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of supply chain contracts, including:

Direct procurement agreements
-
Manufacturing (CMO/CDMO) agreements
-
Supply agreements
-
Develop and maintain standard templates and playbooks
-
Provide pragmatic legal advice to support commercial objectives
2. Risk Management & Compliance
-
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks in supply chain and direct procurement operations
-
Ensure compliance with:
-
Applicable laws and regulations (e.g. competition, trade, customs)
-
Internal compliance policies and procedures
-
Support implementation of third-party risk management frameworks
3. Regulatory & Sustainability Support

Advise on:
-
Product regulatory requirements impacting supply chain
-
ESG / sustainability obligations (e.g. CSRD, supply chain due diligence)
-
Support documentation and reporting related to sustainability and transparency obligations
4. Disputes & Claims Management
-
Support management of:
-
Supplier or third party disputes
-
Delivery failures and quality claims
-
Contractual litigation/arbitration (with the coordination of external counsel where needed)

Provide risk assessments and settlement strategies
5. Cross-Functional Business Partnering

Act as key legal partner to:

Procurement
-
Supply Chain / Operations
-
Quality and Regulatory teams
-
Participate in key business initiatives and projects (e.g. new suppliers, strategic sourcing, outsourcing)
6. Support in M&A and Corporate Projects

Support M&A transactions (acquisitions, divestments, strategic deals) from a Supply/Manufacturing perspective

Contribute to legal due diligence activities within Supply/Manufacturing scope

Review transition contracts on supply/manufacturing
-
Support in the coordination with external counsel and internal teams within Supply/Manufacturing
7. Governance & Process Improvement

Contribute to development of:

Contract governance frameworks

Approval processes and delegation models
-
Promote legal awareness and training within supply chain functions
Requirements
- Law degree
- 8–10 years of legal experience in multinational pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing companies.
- Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex procurement, manufacturing (CMO/CDMO), supply, and distribution agreements.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, international trade, competition law, customs, ESG, and supply chain compliance.
- Experience supporting M&A transactions, legal due diligence, and managing commercial disputes with external counsel.
- Business-oriented mindset, excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent English (C1/C2); willingness to work in an international environment and travel as required.
Salary Range: €70000 - €85000
The salary range indicated in this job posting represents the minimum and maximum compensation range for the position. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive (Directive (EU) 2023/970).
