As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Director, HCP Marketing to join the LYNAVOY US Marketing Team. LYNAVOY is the first and only therapy specifically indicated for cholestatic pruritus in Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), a rare liver disease.
Reporting to the Executive Director, HCP Marketing & Brand Strategy, this individual will be responsible for leading HCP marketing strategy, promotion, customer engagement, and omnichannel activation to drive brand growth, support appropriate patient identification, and improve customer engagement. This role will serve as a key commercial leader responsible for translating brand strategy into impactful HCP initiatives across personal and non-personal channels.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Morristown, NJ office.
Scope of the Role
This role is ideal for a strategic and execution-oriented marketer who thrives at the intersection of brand strategy, customer engagement, and commercial execution. The Director, HCP Marketing will be accountable for developing and executing HCP marketing strategies focused on HCP promotion, customer engagement, and omnichannel strategy for the LYNAVOY brand.
Reporting to Executive Director, HCP Marketing, this position will lead development of HCP promotional strategy, messaging, campaigns, field-facing resources, and tactical plans while partnering closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Analytics, and Training. In addition, the role will drive HCP omnichannel strategy, customer journey design, channel planning, and performance measurement to ensure an integrated and coordinated customer experience across all touchpoints.
Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, customer-centric thinking, analytical rigor, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to convert insights into action that drives measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
HCP Marketing Strategy & Brand Execution
- Lead execution of HCP marketing tactics aligned with brand objectives, growth priorities, and customer needs.
- Develop HCP segmentation, targeting, positioning, and promotional strategies to maximize customer engagement and business impact.
- Lead development and pull through of HCP messaging, promotional campaigns, field-facing materials, customer engagement tools, and sales force resources.
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership to ensure effective execution of brand strategy and alignment between marketing initiatives and field activities.
- Gather and synthesize customer insights, market research, competitive intelligence, field feedback, and performance data to refine strategy and optimize execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and address barriers throughout the treatment journey.
- Lead agency partners supporting HCP marketing strategy, creative development, campaign execution, and promotional initiatives and manage AOR budget for HCP.
- Support annual brand planning, business reviews, and POA meetings.
- Translate LYNAVOY brand strategy into integrated HCP tactical plans that drive awareness, consideration, and treatment adoption.
Omnichannel Strategy & Customer Engagement
- Lead customer engagement and omnichannel planning to support HCP marketing objectives and brand growth.
- Design integrated engagement approaches across field and digital channels that deliver a coordinated customer experience.
- Partner with Commercial Operations, Analytics, and Digital teams to optimize targeting, segmentation, personalization, and campaign effectiveness.
- Oversee execution and measurement of HCP omnichannel initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement and marketing performance.
- Establish key performance metrics and leverage insights to continuously optimize customer engagement strategies.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Training, Commercial Operations, Analytics, and Sales teams to ensure successful execution of commercial initiatives.
- Serve as a key marketing partner to the field organization and contribute to field communications, training support, and sales force effectiveness initiatives.
- Ensure all promotional programs and materials meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What This Role Partners With
This role works closely with teams responsible for Medical Education, Congress Strategy, Peer-to-Peer Programs, Speaker Bureau, Scientific Communications, and Medical Affairs initiatives.
While highly collaborative with these functions, ownership of these programs resides outside of this role. The Director, HCP Marketing is responsible for ensuring alignment between these activities and overall HCP brand strategy while maintaining primary ownership of HCP promotion, customer engagement, and omnichannel marketing.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related commercial experience.
- 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in pharmaceutical HCP marketing, brand marketing, or commercial marketing roles.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing HCP marketing strategies and promotional initiatives that drive business results.
- Experience leading brand strategy execution, customer engagement initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
- Strong experience partnering with field sales organizations to translate strategic priorities into effective field execution.
- Demonstrated understanding of omnichannel strategy, customer journey planning, CRM, digital marketing, customer engagement, and promotional analytics.
- Experience with customer segmentation, targeting, positioning, message development, and tactical planning.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience managing agency partners and external vendors.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, accountability, and execution focus.
- Rare disease, specialty pharmaceutical, hepatology, gastroenterology, or launch experience preferred.
- Experience with Veeva CRM, omnichannel engagement platforms, marketing automation tools, and customer engagement analytics preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $230,000-$260,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and business considerations.
